DRAŽEN ŠIMLEŠA: Completed his MA and PhD at the University of Philosophy, Department of Sociology in Zagreb. He now works as a research associate at Zagreb’s Ivo Pilar Institute for Social Science where he runs project iPRESENT – Installation Project for REsearch about Social ENTrepreneurship funded by Croatian Science Foundation. The main fields of his work and interest are globalization, sustainability, economy and permaculture. Within these areas he has written six books and several scientific studies. His latest books are ‘Ecological Footprint – How development runs over sustainability’ and ‘Good Economy’, published in 2016. He teaches on Peace Studies in Zagreb and lectures all around Croatia. He is an active member of citizens’ initiatives and organisations and works as a volunteer in the Green Network of Activist Groups (GNAG). He is also the President of Cooperative for Good Economy.
